Soul Friendship

Feel the freedom to live to your full potential of who you truly are!

Soul friendship is an ancient practice of meeting one-to-one with a trained person to discuss one’s spiritual life in today’s world.

It is open to everyone – those following a particular spiritual path and those freely seeking a spiritual path in life of their own.

It is a supportive, contemplative process that helps you attend to the presence of the sacred in your life and to connect and grow in relationship with the Divine and respond creatively to that discovery.

The language of the “Divine”, ‘Divine Mystery’ or Source is often used to name the unnameable and refers to the God of many different names in various traditions.

As your soul friend, we will use your spiritual language in the exploration of YOUR soul essence flowing in all areas of your life, such as love, work, aging, and death. And we shall do so, through the timeless lens of ancient Celtic wisdoms and traditions.

My style of spiritually companioning others is contemplative and creative. In addition, it has been enriched by the Celtic Anam Cara tradition.

Anam Cara is the Irish for Soul Friend. When energies flow between two people and a deep bond is formed, it is said you have found your Anam Cara or soul friend

Connecting with another person in a completely open and trusting way is indeed a gift, as I’m always awed when I witness deep affectionate connections flowing & cutting across barriers such as time, philosophy and culture.

It is this deep connection, with self, with others and all life that awakens within me, a sense of meaning & trust in all aspects of life.

When you are blessed with an anam cara, the Irish believe, you have arrived at that most sacred place: home.

John O’Donohue, Irish Poet and philosopher

I cherish the friendship I have with my Anam Cara, and maybe there is space in your life for one too…..
